just realised that i got lots of answers wrong for the chem test. blahh. tomorrow is chinese. should i just learn from the tingxie paper? that would be so lazy of me but i really don't have any other source to *learn* anything from. basically anything chinese i lose it. like my summary/cloze wksheet which i found only yesterday, AFTER she went through it. and my textbook too which i couldn't find when i was packing my bag for tuesday. don't have the fill in the blanks thing either. so how? tingxie paper lors. tingli is on saturday and oral on the 14. really really nervous. oh and really just passed mep practical. got okay marks for both listening papers so that wasn't too bad. practical sucks. but i can't wait for 2nd instru practical. it's gonna be fun! ahhas.

pple came to me house today! [charleen yingqing jingyi ellen] yep to do our ss project. we were actually wondering if there was any other group that did it. ahhas. anyways we got the whole thing done...except i just realised we don't have the benefits and the singapore in the UN part in the a3 paper but they're in the powerpoint. ahhas. not sure if we have to do both paper and ppt or just the paper. blahh. had pringles, garlic bread and frozen pizza [heated up duh] as snacks during the project. yingqing plays piano super well too! ahhas been slacking away the last 2 hours watching JAG and wimbledon stuff. and it's finally dinnertime!

went to suntec today with grandma and mommie. went to pick up some stuff first at beach road then went to suntec and waited for grandma there. drank a lemonade freezz. it's really really sour!!! but refreshing anyways. saw a really nice pair of black pants at u2, 2 for $69. me and mommie actually tried it on and it fits so prettily but we didn't buy it in the end. ahhas. then walked around the whole place. saw the alex parks cd in tower records :) i wonder how she really actually sounds like. try to find soundclips later. went to this fashion and bought a green skirt. it's really quite pretty :) grandma actually saw 2 very nice white skirts that she wanted to buy for our confirmation but didn't in the end. they were really flouncy-girlyish. ahhas. not my type...heees. ended up at carrefour and bought doughnuts and bread and cheese and lotsa other stuff and grape juicefuls! after that shopped around somemore and finally got on the 133 home. bus ride was like 1hr+. crazehh. yepp been lazing the night away reading archiecomics. blahh. it's been a fun day. becks is pathetic...shouldn't be captain. anyhoos go greece! all out of the france hatred...heh. i just happen to dislike greece less.
i've been blogging like crazy these last few days. ahhas. i'm suddenly rock crazy. i've no idea why. and metallica is my new love. current favourite songs are the reason and enter sandman. whatever happened to the westlife-lovin' one? she's still around. don't worry. i'm not about to go headbanging yet. somebody give me metallica for my birthday and i'm happy.

went to church yesterday thinking that there was youth mass choir prac...turns out the message didn't get to us that there wasn't prac so we [nick ed milli me] stayed in church anyway to help kevin with stuff. after milli went for guitar lesson, he passed the 3 of us the youth mass invitation postcards to put stamps on. we gathered our stuff and went to the other room to do it cos other people came into the station five room. stuck iddi's postcard..ahhas. will be expecting it in the mail tomorrow i guess :) then we had other stuff to do, like writing addresses on envelopes, sealing them with our own saliva ;) and licking stamps. nick and ed's handwriting is gross...so says vanessa who came halfway. after we completed we all piled into kevin's car and drove off to j8 to pick up milli for our car ride :) went all the way to changi beach where we stopped to look at the planes landing. apparently we're lucky cos we got there at landing time. we were like guessing airlines..ahhas. then we heard the ice cream bell so kevin treated us to ice cream! dripped some ice cream over the railing..then stuffed the whole thing into me mouth! couldn't talk at all then milli was making me and nick [also wif ice cream in his mouth] laugh. i almost spit out my ice cream. mehh the whole roof of my mouth was like numb for 10 minutes after that. ahhas. saw a few more planes land then went back to the car. nick really can't recognise kevin's car...sigh. then we headed off for changi safra...the place is sooo spooky! with all the fences and electric thingys...eep. then dropped nick off at bungalow 13. ahhas. then headed home...fell asleep...ahhas. so comfy in the car. ooh car stories. when where is the love came on the radio nick took the tigger and eeyore cushions and made them 'sing'. sooo farnie. oh well nothing much else. got posted to 7am choir for isp. really wanted something else...like rcia. vk's alone in rcia with somebody no one seems to know...i wanna go be an honorary member. at first kevin bluffed milli that she was in christian meditation, nick was in clean n green and ed was in sodality. ahhas.

hmm i wish i knew what's going on then maybe i can help.
i'm too lazy to blog about the kluang trip...hee. so many fellas have already done so indepthly like [majo milli nat(mehmehsblog) shaowei mon] and others. not much to add to them except that fact that i really really had alot of fun. i never thought it could be that enjoyable. all-nighter! that was great :) shaun fell asleep before he could drink his coffee. weirdo...called his name so many times then aileen was like [i heard someone call me]. ?? odd people. hees. last night stayed quite late in church...like until 11? i dunno...then kevin fetched us [nick edwin milli me] home. ahhas. we were like wreaking havoc in station five, having a cushionfight. we also raided the cupboard for food...couldn't find any biscuits though just one packet and nick ate that, and ed made his own instant noodles. hmm apparently milli and ed have settled the cushion distribution.

just a few more ec tales to tell. there are so many i wish i could experience them all over again...sigh. so just when milli me ivy and angela sat down for our lunch [ivy and angela sharing a box of rice+dishes and 2 doughnuts and a blueberry bun for me] iris walks by and says [oh can we meet in the secretariat for last chamber practice?] so adeline happens to go by us too so me milli and her went off to the secretariat. we happened to be the first there...ahhas. then milli tried to twirl while i was making my tea and caught adeline's eye. she decided to teach milli how to do a pirouette. milli's such a failure...ahhas. she almost spilt my tea! later the practice was moved to the artist 4 choir male room. we were all laughing as adeline was trying to describe the place to delvinia and amanda for them to get there because of the details we were giving them that were quite unnecessary. so we finally started practising harmonising [we are one body]. the joy of last minute work. ahhas. anyways then chris changed into his [not really black] top. he concedes that he's 'colourblind' cos when he brought it he thought it was black. it turned out greyish navy blue. then the whole thing started...after it ended johnteo and jess caught up with daniel brennan angela jonathan milli and me. turns out we have a choice to have dinner with the st david's choir peeps...after deciding that we had very little money among us, we went anyway. waited soooo long for the place to be ready [palm beach restaurant near stadium]. there were 15 pple and they managed to arrange the table for 15. pretty amazing. agnes did the ordering honours...then there was no more crispy chicken and everyone protested against herbal chicken. muharhar. there we gossiped alot about auntie aileen...ahhas. about all the tales of [i'm just round the corner] [i'm on the way] and her actually being 20 minutes away. damn funny. too many stories to tell...and i was the youngest at the table...and it was pretty much all teochew speaking too! so cool...and angela can say the hail mary and Lord's prayer in teochew. funky...anyway after watching angela battle through the humongous crab pincer we finally got about getting home. johnteo offered to send me and milli home...drove around..wasn't noticing where on earth we were until i saw commonwealth. my goodness...and he went up the lift with jess...left me and milli in the car for about 5 minutes. then we finally were really on the way home...spent more than half an hour in the car...ahhas. went all the way to our door with us too...how nice. slept. woke up to watch england france, abandoned the game at the 70th minute, cos i thought they had it in the bag already. what devastation when i checked the final score. dammit. collected specs on tuesday! i love me my glasses. i'm gonna be wearing them more often than not now, i guess. and i don't regret giving up a chance at schoolteam netball. not at all. because with mrs chia, me cam and jiaen actually get to play. something we've not gotten to do in a while. i still love netball, just not taking it seriously anymore, as mrs chia puts it, because i don't see the merits of struggling so hard and getting sick of it all. well i got all the consolation i needed yesterday...i actually can still shoot! which is amazing...ahhas. and coach mun was like watching the game for about 2 minutes and my gk yanbing [sec1] was like [must she stand there??]. poor sec ones, so scared of her already. oh and jia mein came yesterday...she's nice to be around. ahhas. cam already told me and jiaen the monk joke, then jia mein comes along and says, [there was a monk with disciples...] and we all started laughing and she didn't know why...until we told her. good times. i hope they last.

gahh just a series update, the lakers lost again. i wonder about today's game. i'll just check the scoreline before i go to the library to meet olga.
eucharistic congress
that was great! i've never done 2-to-a-mike and hearing your voice over the big big speakers at the indoor stadium which was almost full! precision has never been so crucial. it's definitely one heck of a great experience, one i'll never trade for anything. the not so fantastic point of the day is that us in the choir couldn't really hear the homily by fr erasto because we were sort of behind the speakers so all we heard was echoey things. apparently he told really touching stories. angela fell asleep and so ivy thwacked her. ahhas. and chris is in singapore idol! how funky is that. i finally actually have a reason to follow it now. amanda [not me duh] sang [how beautiful] so well yesterday though auntie aileen was sorta grimacing during the second verse claiming that amanda was 'flat'. oh well up to her. her mood wasn't too great yesterday and this post is going to be quite much about her actually. bad mood occasion numero uno: gets angry at chris for switching the mikes after a whole bunch of confusion about which cantor mikes to use for the song about claiming that [you don't switch the mikes!]. adeline was actually giggling at the sight of a mother-son argument like that. bad mood part deux: the kids behind us were making a whole lot of noise that would be picked up very easily once the mikes were turned on. so she got really angry and started switching them into a boy-girl-boy-girl...arrangement and they were soooo not happy and started making even more noise until chris had to tell them not to get her any angrier. adeline, michael, me and milli also provided counselling for the poor gals who were like [i don't want to sit in between boys!]. so cute. but weird auntie aileen has her own funny ways too. halfway through the mass she started walking around the choir area with a sign behind her back saying [choir please sing louder] and pretending she wasn't holding anything, just being nosy. dadda needs the computer.

oh and did i mention? lakers beat the pistons 99-91 in overtime. take that, patrick.
players of the day
pistons: ben wallace, rasheed wallace, chauncey billups [who, sadly cracked under pressure in OT]
lakers: kobe bryant, shaq o'neal, luke walton, derek fisher, karl malone
i shan't go into an analysis of the game, seeing how i only watched the 1st and 2nd quarters and the 2nd half of the 4th and OT. 89-89 going into OT thanks to kobe bryant's 3 pointer with 10 seconds left in the 4th. then the pistons got a basket then it was lakers all the way for the rest of the OT. it was simply fantastic and oh how my little laker-lovin heart fluttered when the pistons self-destructed in OT. can't take the pressure eh?

went ice skating yesterday with sandy milli and iddi and mommie. i can finally sort-of skate! at last...on my third time. fall count: 2. it's an improvement already. ahhas. got quite a nice blueblack on my knee though. anyways when they were resurfacing the ice i ate instant noodles chips and sarsi. i spilt the coke. mehh. listening to josh groban's first cd now. he's improved so much imo. comparatively he doesn't sound that opera-ish anymore. which is quite a good thing. after that went to auntie aileen's house. not for lesson but to help her with stuff. she was busy, so she claims. she gave me and milli very yummy raspberryjamcookies from switzerland. so funky. apparently where she went for holiday, it was 1deg. then set off for st theresa's church in her car. photocopied stuff there with delvinia and danny while she went to pick up chris [because he has to go home and bathe.] oh well. when she came back we went to the main church hall to practice the youth segment songs. it's all sounding pretty good i guess. and chris is singing the verses for [we are one body]. there's this very very very repetitive verse that has only two notes: A and D. and its quite fast and tonguetwisting. good luck to chris. apparently adeline is a teacher! she's in the nie choir. so funky. and she had to leave at 7.30. so when the teaching session for the youth camp thing started there were only six of us singing [me milli del chris danny mike] and auntie aileen hanging around, roy on guitar and iris on piano. iris is so cute. ahhas. and some other amanda is singing [how beautiful] and that song is beautiful. i'm sure she'll do great. so it ended, then auntie aileen dropped me and milli off at tiong bahru and bought breadtalk stuff for her, iris and us. so we went home by mrt. long and dreary ride. mehh. finally got home, watched smallville. i actually felt sad for adam and lionel. terminal liver illness? poor guy. mommie has a heart of stone. says he deserves it because he's evil. and lex luthor is turning soooo bad. he must be one of the cutest bad guys in the universe. full name: alexander luthor. ahhas. and lana's getting quite irritating. don't like her much. watching harry potter today! finally...

recapping the week that just zoomed by::
Tuesday 1st June
went to the LOTR exhibition at science centre. it totally rocked! viggo actually washed and mended his own costume as and when it was required. how funky. and arwen's dress [the blue one] is so pretty! i wish i could stick my hand in from the top of the casing to touch it...looks really velvety, which is nice. washed about an hour of making-of. the [massive] program is cool. go find out about it yourself because it takes too long to explain...ahhas. but the little image stuck in my head is that of silver vs gold soldiers and some of them running away from the battlescene. :) saw grace and charmaine there too and sarah and joanne crossing the road outside. never expected to see so many people i knew there.
Wednesday 2nd June
don't remember doing anything worth recalling in detail..hmm. my memory is failing me. oh had choir practise for kenneth and jesline's wedding. yep that's about it. my nose was mighty sucky. was fluzy since tuesday. still am a little. blahh.
Thursday 3rd June
day 1 of mep camp. was put in group 7 [guyana]. the people in the group were pretty stone cold at first but i guessed we warmed up a little later in the day when we practised our routine in the classroom. acs[i], i conclude is a very very big school. apparently it takes 7 minutes to walk to the football field. and the sac is basically an aircon food centre. other than playing piano there, all u can do is eat so...what student activity? maybe they hold functions there. salsa is fun...cam/tata was my partner...she leader me follower. i think we can dance together quite well..ahhas. pity milli, she had no choice but to partner a guy cos he had no one to pair up with. had bbq at wayne's place at night. duck was tasteless but the chicken wings and sausages were good. didn't stay long enough for the pork chop. apparently that was fantastic. had very fun conversations with christine, elaine, zen, angie, nick. we also had an under the table foot war where angie kept kicking my leg and i decided to stomp on nick's foot. the poor guy. he's got squishy shoes.
Friday 4th June
day 2 of mep camp. did more rehearsal for our dance. that's pretty much it for the whole day. finally performed and ours was pretty simple though we had mini-pyramids and a hilarious start. the winning group got a free salsa session. lucky them.
Saturday 5th June
had to miss ms rockey [mrs gobi] wedding because of kenneth and jesline's wedding, to which we were committed to sing for. jesline is so pretty! after the wedding we went to the church attic which had been transformed into some sort of banquet hall. the food was fantastic! had a glass of champagne. nice. the soup was great too...fr michael sitaram was sitting opposite me and he's crazily funny. he's got good rapport with daddy. outside the attic waiting for the lift, fr michael couldn't reach the gold-coloured balloon for iddi so fr david jumped and got it. he must have been drunk or something. he's normally very serious. after that wasted the whole day away. 4 hours online and nobody to talk to. ahhas. but it was fun.
Sunday 6th June
regular sunday routine if you have been following my blog. church, choir prac. then went to eat lunch at the congee shop. then went to st ignatius church for ec prac. got our choir passes :) took one for angela. then went back with ivy on the 855. watched the italian job last night. it's among my favourite movies now! it's completely funky and charlize theron is cool. way cool. and pretty. seth green is hilarious and everyone else including mark wahlberg was really impressive. the car chase sequence is so cute. 3 minis!! powerpacked minis mind you. it's full of funny lines, great lines and everything. oh and before dinner, we actually watched a marykate and ashley show...dunno the title but it was in roma, italy. daddy actually liked the show. he's crazy. said the coliseum looked like a pizza, the lowrise buildings looked like pizza. must have been hungry then.
this post has come to an end.
