to continue from the previous post::

Sunday May 29

attended mass as usual. had breakfast with [mommie milli iddi adrian joyce]. ate macaroni soup and 3 siew mai that adrian kindly bought for all of us. the siew mai apparently was home made and the lady who made it went to all the tables to gather feedback..ahhas. so cute. then went for choir practise. next week's psalm is really nice! and i joined back the sops from alto because there is suddenly some kind of shortage! see, marianne and samantha are in the philippines doing missionary work. so yah. it's a little weird singing sop parts again but fun! then had lunch with [family] at thomson plaza. ate fishmeat beehoon. the helping was so huge! so i couldn't really finish the whole thing. went back to church and passed amy the photocopy of the passport and old henry gave me the talk agenda because [it is VERY IMPORTANT]. was pretty much the kit list. it even says [remember to bring your smile]. how very lame. then changed into shorts and the costume in the auditorium and everyone was there by about 3.15. marianne choo had lunch with the archbishop! lucky gal. went through the silly dance songs then wayne gave a pep talk. then we headed up to the attic for the 2nd and final performance of we are a light. i think it was really much better than saturday's. although in scene 3 i did say [where thoes dis guy get his stuff]. mehh. warped pronunciation. adrian cried again! that emotional fella. moved by his own delivery of lines. ahhhas. sadly clara couldn't make it for the musical because she claims that it has been a long while since she has been moved by a guy singing. so it ended. there was even a little prize-presentation. quite odd though because mine says [mine] because i wrapped 1/3 of the pressies. then it really really ended. at 0302 there was some pizza and stuff there for us :) wayne wanted [milli angie me] to steal the pizza for thursday's bbq! evil. jonathan headed straight to the airport to go bali. then packed up, and went home. slacked some hours away. didn't have dinner! was full already with 2 slices of pizza, a sandwich and a tart. watched chamber of secrets at 8 and a 10min sneak peek at prisoner of azkaban. it looks really good! i need to watch it soon. like. if i had a choice, i'd watch it now! draco's hair is funky. then about now. just came back from school about half an hour ago. right now, the sky looks like france flag. blue, then white clouds, then pinkish. all in a line after each other. recorded the song for the competition. it sounds really quite nice i guess. skipped lunch and just finished instant noodles. gonna help myself to some ice cream now! mommie will be back late so that's a late dinner. quite satified with today :) going to the lotr exhibition tomorrow! hope i can take photos. it will be something i'll remember for a long time.
highlight of the weekend is obviously the musical! i shall recap both days then.

Saturday 29th May

watched tv in the morning! watched figure skating...really good. i hope to see heather there someday! ahhas. then had lunch and set off for church at 2.30. met zen and the rest of the musical fellas in the attic. rehearsed some scenes and then went to the auditorium. rehearsed a little bit more then went to thomson plaza with [zen adrian gary elaine milli iddi mon john] yep i think that's the lot and ate. got back to church at about 5.50 then headed off to the auditorium again. milli mon and john dozed off and iddi was doing her own crap while i was reading fellowship of the ring! then zen came in and fell asleep too. it was really quiet for a whole hour! it's the aircon i tell ya. plus the place is carpeted so its really comfy! one thing about the place is that samuel arranged the chairs and stuck masking tape with our names on it :) we got individual spaces! so cool. then at 7.15 everyone promptly streamed in to the auditorium to get into our costumes. zen was so fussy about putting the little end behind the back. oh fine! then it was it! the mounted lights were really quite hot...bleahh. it was so cool too to see so many faces. the whole thing went so smoothly. and adrian as peter got so emotional and pretty much cried during the thing. it made christine and gayle and marilyne almost cry too! we were all so scared that he wouldn't stop in time for happy scene 7! and in scene 6 desmond really came into his own...ahhhas. as wayne said [i've never seen such lust]. oh well...ahhas. thing ended really good tho i screwed up the little end then then went to eat roti prata...got back at about 11+ close to 12 and slept. until next morning....i shall leave that to my next post. need to go to school now!

it's been like the slackiest day of school ever! went to school, packed some stuff into my bag, had assembly, copied notes for ss [ms santha's going...ms low, seth tan, mermaid, anyone?], she gave a ferrero rocher, *discussed* some chinese but was talking crap most of the time, like discussing interview with the vampire with eileen and pooty. then was english. ms fazi cancelled the debate and rejected my argumentative topic. it was 'faramir is eowyn's true love' and i had all the info ready to put into an essay. gahh. now i have to go hunt down some stupid topic like the government should not censor movies or some shit. then recess, then no chem and left school at 1215! but not before a very weird request by joyce. anyway then went with milli to 631 to eat porridge...poor milli has a sore throat so she has been drinking lots of coke! it's supposed to help anyway. then went home. watched master and commander! borrowed from the vcd shop. yepps. i have a little respect for russell crowe now and more for paul bettany. the movie was good...a teeny bit bloody but it's all else is majorly good. max pirkis! he's so young he's adorable...and stole the show at some points. oh and did i mention i really hate it when people curse and swear at others in their messenger nickname? you know who you are. and no, i'm not agitated. i'm cool as ice. anyway back to the day, did really nothing much else. on the computer, watched mtv. caught the opera band singing senza catene which is really unchained melody slowed down and in italian with gorgeous voices. it's all good, all good. fantasia won ami and i don't quite care. i remember ruben winning and me being really pissed about it. shows just how impressive this season was. then back to the computer again. i think i'll sleep early tonight. it's a minute past 10 and i bet michelle's already in slumberland. oh well.

not much has happened these few days. except for 3 very disastrous tests yesterday. chem, which i passed by 1 mark by virtue of a good mcq guess, and mep [western music] and mep [world music]. during mep tests i seem to totally blank out and scribble all over the place. wrote down and described wrongly the latin american instrument. i think i'm the only idiot who put down flute. and i probably put the description wrong anyway, meaning any chance of getting full marks is GONE. i had hopes. oh well. suddenly i'm reliving my clay love. must be the part that ami3 is at now. at this very same period in time last year, clay and ruben were pronounced the final two. in the top 3 show, clay sang [vincent] which he forgot the words, and there were missing bars in the music anyway, mack the knife which was paula's choice for him and the perfect choice too! [oozing coolness] and unchained melody, which was his own choice. then the results show, kim locke was off. then the finale...ahh i'll get there when the time comes. i can still remember chuwen saying 'clay lost!!!' over msn. i didn't even want to know until i watched. then edwin yew had to go tag my blog [when it still had a tagboard] and say 'the teddybear won'. grrr. the whole travesty! anyways i'll just stop my ranting now. hmm why should i? a blog's for me to vent my feelings ain't it? ahhas. whatever.

so funkayye! had choir prac, ec prac and musical prac again...whew! final rehearsals on saturday and sunday...it's almost all ready!! then after that had hor fun for dinner at 603, then hurriedly showered and did the lit passage-based then set off to watch van helsing with whole family and lingyiyi and got back home at 12.30am. it was so funny! so sad that velkan died and anna died but just-a-friar carl was freakin' hilarious! great show all in all. hugh jackman's hair is so gloriously long...and dracula was so cool...never liked a baddie so much. aussie mafia movie, van helsing. gabriel van helsing [hugh jackman] dracula [richard roxburgh] and friar carl [david wenham]. wenham looks so different from faramir. next movie to watch: troy. oooooooooh yeahh...

ms santha cannot live without technology. projector not working then she dunno how to just take the textbook and teach from there...must go and print out the slides and photocopy them on transparency...goodness...even trainees like the ppt-dependent mr imran and seth tan can manage...why can't she, a qualified teacher? oh well. ate western at 608...ahhas. tried the english set today. its really really good! anyhows, then went out about 4.30 with milli and mommie! went to raffles city to look for grandmama's mother's day pressie...bought a bag and a mouse magnet [fetish for mouse thingys...born in the year of the rat, you see] for her. then ate ham sandwich at subway. it's fantastic..yummies. then took train to aljunied and bussed to lasalle-sia college of the arts...went to watch the graduation recital :) it was over 4 days and today was the last day...there were 2 pianists and it was basically their exam...they played so well! my fingers are never ever gonna be able to move that smoothly. the 2nd pianist messed up one bit a little...and her first piece by bach sounded so familiar...like something we did during mep...test or exercise or something :) but she was really good too overall. their names are: li yan hui and luo enning. all the best to them anyways! then took a cab home...the bus driver was so funny...recounting his primary school days. weird fella. tomorrow, i'm going on an adventure! okay maybe i'm quite pathetic but i'm really scared that i may get lost on the way to ppis...oh well i'll just wait and see.

it's so rare that i'm going to say this but i think school was really great today! i'll just bore you to death recounting lesson by lesson. so the day started with assembly...mr phee was speaking so sloww...my goodness i don't even think he realised that it was drizzling and that the drizzle was getting heavier and heavier. anyhows nobody really cared that 'charity of each level' was supposed to go first...we all just went back to class. who cares about mrs quek anyway. then we had lit! ahhas was feste and sang... :) nice to know the effort was appreciated :) eileen, sara etc came up with the tune...lovely gals :) we all got a little notepad from mrs yoohenthran :) she's such a, well, cute lady i guess. then it was pe!!! for once we could all go out and face pe without fear...ahhas of running rounds. didn't even warm up today...it was drizzling a little so we splashed our way to the forum and listened to ms lim give instructions...playplayplay on the hockey pitch then it started to really rain! half the class played first, then our turn. playing in the rain is sooo fun! but its so hard to score in handball..ahhas. then on the way back to class, we, sec 3s were like splashing in puddles everywhere right in front of sec 1s...i think we were like more childish than them lahs. but like heck...we were having so much fun! then it was physics...was early for his lesson at last! went through expt 7...then chatted all the way until recess...waited so long for seth tan to arrive...then we had the farewell! the song is so crappie...and mr imran really looked like he was gonna cry...so emotional...oh well. ate chips, oreos, peanut butter biscuits and the cake! dunno why everyone ran away...left me, debbie, qianya, zhixuan and a few more pple eating the cake...ahhas. the jellybit was really nice :) then was maths...had only half an hour because the teachers had meeting :) i actually understand inequalities! so happie with myself...at least i can do emaths. then was chem...housekeeping...no need to think at all...just keep digging through my stack of crap under my table. managed to find maybe half the contents? aiyah like i ever do filing. its already an effort. walked home and bought german set from 608...ahhh i love it!!! it's really good...nicee. had apple juice with it. looks like i've been updating my blog quite regularly...i hope the gaps of 1+weeks never happen again...i hate leaving things alone :)

after mass, we all went to st joseph's church. wheee!!! got a plastic bag of flowers there. met grandma and aunt, uncle and 2 cousins there. took a stroll around the funfair stalls...realised that we're all so grown up now. ahhas. iddi and sandra managed to dunk a fella at the dunkin machine though. milli failed miserably...ahhas. had ice cream, popcorn and ice milo there too. they were also piecing together a jigsaw of the last supper and the pieces were in little ziplock bags and to 'free' them pple have to pay $1. so fun...milli and i were basically hanging around to pay for one :) we got piece U8. whatever that may mean...ahhas. after that went home...surfed around the net, around ff and finally had lunch! ordered canadian pizza...yumms :) mommie and daddie rock! then got around to doing history graded sbq...i think i totally crapped it. gonna rewrite neater in class tomorrow with my zhou ji. dunno when the jian bao's due...didn't do it. sorry joyce :) [class joyce...not housewarming] this is like confession time or something. forgot to claim my diskette back from gen, so didn't do my english. don't know how to do it anyways, also didn't do anything about lit. darn shittie yeahhs? oh well. pushing my chem all the way to tomorrow as well...gosh i'm making it sound like i've got so much time tomorrow. it's not the case. anyhows. did maths revision [5C] with mommie...a little clearer now, it seems. speaking about lit, i've actually got an idea for the song, without changing the words. to the tune of bring him home from les miserables. it'd be great i guess..pieced it together this morning waiting for milli to be done with the toilet. there's no test tomorrow...it's too good to be true! and one last confession? i've not done any physics or chem filing whatsoever. everything's either on the floor or under my desk or folded and crumpled in my bag. that really sucks but what the heck. like i sincerely care about order.

went to joyce's housewarming today as well! i left it out of my post...its a pretty flat in bishan...can't wait for her church wedding! rom-ed already. the food was really good..so ate very early dinner at 5+ so i'm eating instant noodles now...and 9.20pm... :)
got back a and e maths and chinese yesterday. barely passed chinese :( and guess what? i failed a maths! i must be the happiest failure yesterday...i was laughing like mad because i didn't get below 5!! and i got full marks for e maths :) only thing is whenever i get full marks alot of pple do too...like in p4. anyways now i understand why mrs tan said that some pple would be very shocked because the marks are so contrasting between both mathses. how interesting....eileen and i got exactly the same for both mathses. is 'mathses' even a word? ahhas. its been a bittersweet week..got really bad results and surprisingly great ones too! and there are no more midyears! and the next test...is...dunno when! which is a good thing. definitely nothing 7th week. wheee!!! now for today's things. we are a light practise was from 8.30 to about 4+. covered so much today! just needs polishing and final scene...and poor jonlauw and desmond. i shall not elaborate. favourite song is fishes and crumbs! its sucha crazy happy song...and gary/matthias is really, really great at that. yay...may 29 here we come!!! and on my thoughts about daddy playing Jesus...mehh..he looks so fierce. and i found out that michelle is in mgs [pri] and school choir. yupps...she looks really mature for her age [12]. going to st joseph's church tomorrow after mass. nice...family tradition on the feast day. then may 9 is eucharistic congress prac at st ignatius...us teenies will just troop down there with agnes i guess :) such a cute woman. and to auntie aileen: what cantoring?
